Engage with Respect & Care
Treat all members with kindness, professionalism, and respect—even during disagreement. No hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory language will be tolerated. Assume good intent, and give grace where needed.
Contribute Constructively
Share resources, tools, events, or opportunities that uplift youth-serving work. Stay on-topic within forums and discussion spaces. Avoid self-promotion unless it aligns with the group’s purpose (e.g., a free youth program or opportunity).
Listen & Learn with an Equity Lens
Be open to feedback, new perspectives, and culturally responsive practices. Amplify underrepresented voices in youth work and remain conscious of power dynamics.
Maintain Integrity & Accuracy
Share accurate, updated information. Do not misrepresent your organization’s credentials or service capacity. If posting a job, opportunity, or funding notice, verify details before sharing.
